Congratulations!
Imagine Ballet Company attended the
2009 Pacific Festival in Provo, Utah. They
attended Master Classes taught by
instructors from all over the country, met
dancers from other companies on the
Pacific Coast, and performed their
company piece, Feelin', choreographed by
Kristen Doolittle, and their emerging
choreography piece,
Remembrances,
choreographed by Alicia Angelini. Mrs.
Angelini won the Monticello Award for
emerging choreographers. Congratulations
dancers and team members for a
successful event! The 2010 Festival will be
held in May in Washington.
                      Come to the
Fair!

         Our annual company show, Come
to the Fair, was a huge success! Thank
you to everyone who came out to
support   us and to those who so
generously helped make the show
possible. Pictures from the show were
featured in the Bakersfield Californian
and Kern Life magazine.

Summer School
Young People's Concerts

We have rejuvenated our education
program and have been performing for
youth audiences all year.  We have
visited Valle Verde,  Plantation, and
Horizon  Elementary Schools. We will
soon be performing for OLPH School.
And on March 10th & 11th we will
collaborate with the Bakersfield
Symphony Orchestra in
Peter & the Wolf,
which will be presented at the Rabobank
Theatre for Bakersfield City School
District students.  What a great way to
keep dance alive. Thanks to the schools
and our guest dancers. If your school
would like a performance during the
school year, please contact us.
